Willkommen!

The Boylston Schul-Verein (BSV) is the largest German-American club in the greater Boston area. We are located in Walpole, Massachusetts. We are celebrating our 139th year in 2013. The club is the center of German-American social, cultural, and educational activities in the Boston area.

This site provides general club information such as our long and proud history, club groups and benefits, and how to become a member as well as event information and announcements.

Save the Date - Upcoming Events

May 25th - Champions League Final 2013
Join us for the battle of the German Giants for the crown of European club football. Doors open at 2pm, kickoff is 2.45pm.

The game will be shown in the Ratskeller on the big screen TV.

May 30th - Skat Night
Join us for our monthly Skat Night in the Rathskeller.
Play the popular German card game, all players are welcome. Rathskeller opens at 7pm.

June 8th & 9th - SOMMERFEST (Oktoberfest in June)
Join several thousand visitors during our weekend long celebration of "Gemütlichkeit" and fun at the German Sommerfest - Real Oktoberfest atmosphere in June.

Live music and dancing, kid's games, pony rides and target shooting are just some of the activities offered.

Start the summer with a fun filled weekend for the whole family, while enjoying traditional German fare (but not only) and beers.

Sommerfest will be held rain or shine. Our pavilion offers 500 seats and a dance floor protected from rain or scorching sun.

Chef Werner will be preparing a delicious meal. Rathskeller opens at 7pm.

Updates and News

Nationalmannschaft visits USA
The Nationalmannschaft will play against the USA on June 2nd in DC. We are working on setting up a group trip down to DC to see the game. The BSV Kickers will keep you posted about this, we are already in contact with the DFB and German Clubs in the DC area. Check back here from time to time for updates.

Rathskeller Hours

The Rathskeller is open during the week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting the second week in September.  It will also be open on selected Friday evenings.
