Soccer has a longstanding tradition with the BSV. The Kickers used to play successfully in the 60's and 70's in different leagues around Boston. For several years the BSV unfortunately did not have an active soccer team.

In 2010 the Weihenstephan BSV Kickers kicked off their first season in BSSC coed soccer. Thanks to the efforts of the Kitzmann brothers a team consisting of several BSV members and their friends was fielded and concluded their first season with a 6-1 record on top of their conference.

The Weihenstephan BSV Kickers also run the Torwand (goal target shooting) during the Sommerfest, Oktoberfest and Saturday School graduation ceremony.

A big "Thank you!" goes out to Tim Coleman, a local liquor distributor who carries Weihenstephan beers, brewed by the oldest continuously operating brewery in the world.
