November Herrenabend
Friday, November 11th | 7pm
Join us for one of the BSV's longest-standing traditions: Herrenabend (men's night)! For more than 100 years, one Friday night per month, the men of the BSV take over the club for a night of drinks, dinner, and comradery.
Guest chef member Brian Andersen will be preparing a special menu featuring Pasta Bolognese, a mixed green salad with carrot, cucumber, tomato and red onion, and Tiramisu for desert.
All guests who will be dining are required to pre-purchase a meal ticket. This event is open to both members and non-members.
Freundeskreis: Game Afternoon
Sunday, November 13th | 2-4:30pm
We will have several board games and playing cards. You can also bring your own favorite game. For those of you who like a little competition, we will have a Trivia Game “Team USA” vs. “Team Germany”. So come, bring a friend, bring a food item, or make a donation of $5.

Board Game Nights at the BSV
First and Third Thursday of Each Month in the BSV Ratskeller
Open to members and guests, Jeff Pugliese and Amy Elizabeth will lead groups through modern classic games like Settlers of Catan, Stardew Valley and Ticket to Ride. No experience necessary.
Board Game night will be held on the first and third Thursday of the month in the Ratskeller. Upcoming dates include: November 17 and December 1st (not December 15th).

BSV Athletics End of Season Cookout
Sunday, November 20th | 12:30pm
The BSV Kickers (Fußball) and Eishockey teams are both enjoying successful and fun fall seasons.
The Kickers have been hosting matches on Sundays at the South Walpole Community Athletics Complex and will have their last match on Sunday, November 20th.
Our Eishockey team has been playing every Tuesday night at the New England Sports Village in Attleboro. Their fall season will be coming to a close on November 22nd.
The BSV will be hosting an end-of-season cookout for both teams on Sunday, November 20th following the Kickers last match of the season. The Ratskeller will open at noon and this will be a potluck-style cookout. Any members interested in coming and toasting our athletes are welcome to join!
Planning for the winter/spring seasons is underway for both teams and more info will be
published in the coming weeks.
World Cup Event in the Ratskeller (BSV Members-Only Event)
Sunday, November 27th | 2pm
The 2022 World Cup is kicking off in Qatar in just a few weeks! We'll be hosting a special event in the Ratskeller for Germany's match against Spain on Sunday, November 27th. The Ratskeller will open at 1pm and the match kicks off at 2pm.
Due to space constraints in the Ratskeller, this event will be open to members only and a pre-purchased ticket will be required to attend. Note to members: you must be logged into your Wild Apricot to view and register for the event.
Weihenstephan will be offering special World Cup themed gifts for all attendees and will also be raffling off a Germany World Cup kit!
2022 Weihnachtsmarkt
Saturday, December 3rd | 11am-6pm
Kick off the holiday season at the BSV' annual Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas market).
More details on food, drink, vendor lists, and more will be released via our website and on social media in the coming weeks.
