August Herrenabend | Friday, August 12th, 7pm


Join us for one of the BSV's longest-standing traditions: Herrenabend (men's night)! For more than 100 years, one Friday night per month, the men of the BSV take over the club for a night of drinks, dinner, and comradery.


Guest chef Ioan Truta will be preparing a special menu featuring an Authentic Hungarian Chicken Paprikas over Homemade Spätzle served with a side of Gurkensalat (German cucumber salad) and biscuit salami as dessert.


Pre-purchased meal tickets are required for all guests who are dining with us. The event is open to both members and guests.

Oktoberfest 2022 Tickets: Now On Sale!

Die Lustigen Almdudler will return to grace our Pavilion stage and play all of the crowd favorites. More event details to come soon on ticketing information. BSV members will receive priority access to VIP ticket offers.

BSV Adult German Language School: Registration Still Open for Fall!

2022-2023 class registration is still open for the BSV’s Adult German Language School which begins on September 15th. The School offers a small, relaxed atmosphere to learn the German language and culture. Stop by the Ratskeller before or after class to have a beer and practice your language skills with our teachers and other native German-speakers.


We offer levels from Beginner to Advanced. Please use the link below to learn more about the program and to register.



 

Nominations for Open Positions in the October Elections are due by August 15th

A reminder from the nominating Committee to all BSV members: if you are interested in any of the open positions for the October 2022 election, please contact Amy Elizabeth (Amy.Elizabeth@Germanclub.org) by August 15th.

BSV Eishockey: Recruiting New Skaters for the Fall

This fall, the BSV Eishockey team will be hosting a weekly organized pick up game each Tuesday evening beginning on September 6th and running through the end of November. Any skaters interested in joining for the fall season can learn more via the link below. Registration is now open!



 

BSV Kickers Fußball (Soccer) Fall Season Announcement

The BSV Kickers will be kicking off their fall season on Sunday, September 18th. Any players interested in joining the Kickers this fall, can learn more via the team's website below. Registration is now open for fall!

Kleine Bierkune (A Little Beer Knowledge): August Edition

In German, Hefe means “yeast” and Weizen translates to “wheat.” And it’s those two ingredients that typically define this style of ale. Sometimes it's also called Weissbier, meaning "white beer", depending on the region you are in.
