Monthly Games Night in the Ratskeller
Upcoming Dates: Friday, March 3rd | 7PM
We will begin offering a game night in the Ratskeller on the first Friday of every month! Bring your favorite board game or come learn the traditional German card game of Skat. All are welcome and the Ratskeller will be open to both members and non-members.

For more than 100 years, one Friday night per month, the men of the BSV take over the club for a night of drinks, dinner, and comradery.
Guest chef Ioan Truta will be preparing a special menu featuring an Authentic Hungarian Chicken Paprikash over Homemade Spätzle served with stuffed French baguette and Tiramisu as dessert.
All guests planning to dine with us must pre-purchase a meal ticket. Due to overwhelming demand in recent months, tickets will now be available only to the BSV members with a single guest.
March Freundeskreis: “What's on Your Bucket List?”
Sunday, March 12th | 2-4PM
Meet in the Ratskeller for socializing with each other and for a discussion on Sunday, March 12, at 2pm. We will have fun with the topic “What’s on Your Bucket List?” Do you have a mental list of what you would like to accomplish this year, in the coming years, on this day, or the rest of your life? A trip, ways to improve your health, to be kinder, volunteer at the BSV, take up a new hobby? It will be interesting to think about your own and to hear each other’s intentions, goals, or wishes.

Sunday Brunch at the BSV
Sunday, March 26th | 11am-2pm
Join the BSV for a German brunch buffet featuring Leberkaese, Wurstsalat, Krautsalat, Aufschnitt (assorted cold cuts & cheeses), pretzel sticks, breads, preserves, fruit salad, coffee, tea and German style cakes. A cash bar will be opened.
Adults $25 and Children under 12, $10. Please indicate if you prefer vegetarian.
The brunch is open to both members and non-members. Tickets can be purchased online until Wednesday March 22 or by March 20 via check made out to BSV and mailed to Angie Evans, 365 Dover Road, Westwood, MA 02090.

Smash Burger Night in the Ratskeller
Friday, March 31st | 7-10pm
Join us in the Ratskeller for our first-ever Smash Burger night! Our guest chef Joe Foley will be preparing a menu of different burger options (see event page for full menu). All orders come with french fries and a pickle spear; a full bar will also be available.
The event is open to members and non-members, but all orders must be placed online in advance and spots are limited!

The 2023 Biergarten schedule is now finalized! Get ready for spring and summer Fridays under the Pavilion with live music and local food trucks.

CLUB NEWS AND HAPPENINGS
Volunteer Coordinator Wanted!
With over 650 members and growing activities we are looking to create a central position for all our volunteer searches.
We envision one point of contact that coordinates all other volunteer needs. This is successfully done at the Saturday school and by our current fest coordinator Amy Elizabeth. We would like to grow and build this out to a centralized volunteer database so we can tap into the expertise of our talented membership. This member needs to be able to use email, internet applications and some social media, and the ability to work independently. And it can be also be a group of people or a committee.

Ballroom Dancing Lessons at the BSV
Do you enjoy going to events that have dancing? Would you like to learn how to dance or improve your skills? Want to dance at the next event? Learn Ballroom Dancing at the Boylston Schul-Verein with a professional dance instructor.
Ballroom Dancing Group Courses will be offered on Wednesday evenings this spring. A complimentary dance lesson will be held on Wednesday, March 29th at 7pm in the Ballroom of the Boylston Schul-Verein in Walpole, MA.

I will teach various dances like Waltz (fast and slow), Foxtrot, Rumba, Swing, Cha-Cha, Polka, Salsa, etc. I will have a beginner and an intermediate course.
Leather soled shoes are suggested. The classes will be taught in English. Singles and Couples are welcome. Bring your friends.
